JOS STANDS AGOG FOR CHICKEN RALLY
It was a day of celebration, songs and drums, when all the stakeholders in the Poultry industry in Jos stormed the town to create awareness on the safety of consumption of poultry products.
As you know, Grand Cereals & Oil Mills Limited has always been at the fore- front of enlightenment campaigns to educate the public, that well-cooked poultry products are safe for consumption.
At this campaign organised by the Rantya Poultry Farmers’ Cooperative, GCL was again at the frontline of the campaign to enlighten the populace of Jos and its environs.
The high point of the event was at the Polo field after matching through some major streets in Jos. The Deputy Governor of Plateau State, Chief Michael Botmang; Executive Director of NVRI Vom, Dr. (Mrs) Lami Lombin; MD of GCL, Mr. J.I.D Dada and his Management team, Head of Public Health JUTH, PAN Chairman Plateau State Chapter, Director Vet. Service & Livestock Control, Commissioner of Agriculture (represented), Chairman Bird Flu Committee -Plateau State, Chairman Yan Kaji, all declared that poultry meat & eggs are safe to eat.
The rally was a success, and should go a long way in enforcing the belief that poultry products are safe for consumption.
